Terms of service

These terms apply when you use tripthrillers.com and when you book through it. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service is run by [Registered company name] (“Tripthrillers”, “we”, “us”), CIN [Corporate Identity Number], registered at [Registered office address].

We are a booking agent. The journeys and stays you book are provided by bus operators, airlines and hotels (“travel providers”), and we sell them on their behalf.

Each travel provider's own conditions of carriage or stay also apply to your trip, and the provider is responsible for delivering it. We are responsible for making your booking correctly and for the service we provide.

• You must be at least 18 to create an account and make bookings.
• Give accurate details, and confirm your email address before booking.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for bookings made from your account.
• If you think someone else has used your account, change your password and use Sign out everywhere, then tell us.

A booking is confirmed when you see its booking reference, and we email your ticket too. Until then, prices and availability can change.

Prices are in Indian rupees. On top of the fare there is tax of 5% of the base fare and a convenience fee of ₹49 per booking. All of it is shown before you pay.

Seats you choose are held for 10 minutes while you check out. If the hold runs out before you pay, the seats are released.

Payments are processed by our payment partner. We never see or store your full card number. If we take a payment and can't complete the booking, we refund it in full.

• Carry a government photo ID that matches the name on the booking.
• Arrive in good time. Travel providers can refuse late arrivals, and a missed trip isn't refundable.
• Follow the travel provider's rules on baggage, conduct and safety.

Please don't:

• make bookings you don't intend to use, or that are fraudulent;
• copy, scrape or overload the site, or get around its security;
• resell bookings without our written permission.

We may suspend accounts that do any of these.

The site's design, text and logos belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You may use them only to plan and make bookings.

We aren't responsible for what travel providers do or fail to do, such as delays, cancellations or the standard of a hotel, but we will help you seek a remedy from them.

For any booking, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law doesn't allow liability to be limited.

We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes by email or on the site. A booking is governed by the terms in force when you made it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in [City], India have exclusive jurisdiction. Please contact us first; most problems are quicker to solve directly.
